TERRAFORMING

Terraforming is a bold and complex process aimed at entirely modifying a planetary environment to make it suitable for human life. Typically associated with the colonization of Mars and potentially extendable to celestial bodies in the outer solar system, terraforming represents an application field for technologies we call “bi-planetary”: innovations designed for Mars that can also find concrete applications here on Earth, improving living conditions on our planet.

Addressing the issues arising from global warming on Earth requires the development of advanced technologies for the treatment and sequestration of CO2. By adapting these technologies, we could create a greenhouse effect on Mars, creating the essential conditions for large-scale colonization of the Red Planet.

But terraforming doesn’t stop there. It involves the use of genetic technologies to create bacteria or other biotypes capable of modifying the composition of the Martian atmosphere. At the same time, it requires the development of specialized technologies in the field of chemistry and plastics to support the large-scale transformation process.

This process opens the door to an infinity of applications for terrestrial industries, creating opportunities for innovations that can benefit both planets.

In S.P.A.C.E, our goal is to identify these technologies and involve various industrial and space actors who wish to participate in what could become the largest transformation process in human history. If you are ready to enter a bi-planetary future, we invite you to join us in this exciting adventure.
